Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov announced that in order to ensure the safety of citizens in the region, a counter-terrorist operation regime was introduced. The CTO regime has been introduced since today, after the penetration of saboteurs from Ukraine.
We add that within the framework of the established regime, special measures and temporary restrictions are introduced: starting from checking documents from individuals and ending with the suspension of the activities of hazardous industries and organizations.
As specified in the press service of the government of the region, for the duration of the CTO regime, in particular, the protection of public order, facilities that ensure the vital activity of the population and the functioning of transport, the control of telephone conversations and other information transmitted through the channels of telecommunication systems, and the restriction of traffic will be strengthened and pedestrians on the streets and roads. It is also possible to temporarily resettle individuals residing within individual territories where the CTO regime is in place.
Earlier, we recall, Gladkov reported on saboteurs who entered the territory of the region. According to him, the RF Armed Forces, together with the border service, the Russian Guard and the FSB, are taking the necessary measures to eliminate the enemy.
According to the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, the purpose of the attack is to divert attention from the Bakhmut direction in order to “minimize the political effect of the loss of Artemovsk by the Ukrainian side.”
