The founder of the Marathon of Wishes project, blogger Elena Blinovskaya paid only 10 million rubles out of more than 918 million rubles in unpaid taxes. This was told to TASS by the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin.
Earlier, the blogger spoke of her readiness to fully compensate for the damage caused.
At the end of April, during the election of a measure of restraint against her in the Presnensky Court of Moscow, Blinovskaya’s lawyer said that her client had voluntarily transferred a significant amount to the budget.
Recall that Elena Blinovskaya was detained on April 27 while trying to leave the Russian Federation in a rented car. The blogger was charged with tax evasion on an especially large scale (918 million rubles) and legalization of money or property acquired by criminal means on an especially large scale. She is currently under house arrest. Blinovskaya is forbidden to use the Internet. In addition, the court recognized as lawful the arrest of bank accounts of Blinovskaya and her husband as part of a criminal case. It is imposed on hundreds of millions of rubles on six accounts in large metropolitan banks.
