Russian citizen Jamal Abu Haswan died in the Gaza Strip as a result of shelling by the Israel Defense Forces, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the representative of the Palestinian Ministry of Health Ashraf al-Kedr.
Muawiya Yakob, a friend of the deceased Russian, told the agency that a rocket hit the apartment where Abu Haswan lived with his wife and son, as a result, all three died.
In total, at least ten people were killed in the Gaza Strip, several more were injured, their number is currently unknown, Al Jazeera TV channel reports, citing the Ministry of Health. Sky News Arabia, citing the agency, claims that nine Palestinians were killed.
