After field tests the load tested positive for cocaine.
In total they detected 1,800 kilos of cocaine, which would be equivalent to 18 million doses.
During the operation, the Police detained two suspicious citizens, who were left to the orders of the competent authorities to determine their judicial situation.
Last weekend, the Police gave another blow to drug trafficking with the seizure of 4.4 tons of drugs in a warehouse in Mapsingue Oeste, in the north of Guayaquil.
The alkaloid was hiding in a warehouse of agricultural products. In that operation they captured four people.
