In St. Petersburg canceled the concert of Valery Meladze, which was scheduled for June 30. As KP reports with reference to the organizers, on this day the artist was supposed to perform at the Roof Fest summer festival.
“You won’t be able to buy a ticket, the concert has been canceled, not rescheduled,” commented the organizers.
Meanwhile, Meladze’s concert at the Roof Fest was supposed to take place back in 2020. At first, the event was postponed for a couple of months, but then postponed to 2021, during which the date changed three more times. In the end, the concert was supposed to take place on June 30, 2022, but a month before the event, the concert was again postponed – already a year ahead.
“KP” clarifies that the artist’s performance was postponed eight times in three years.
As Gazeta.Ru recalls, earlier Meladze’s concerts were canceled in Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Barnaul, Kemerovo and Rostov-on-Don. The publication adds that in February 2022, Meladze opposed the start of the SVO, after which, allegedly, he was on the “black list” of Russian artists.
