In the morning, human remains were found in two sectors of Durán.
A body in a state of decomposition was found on the afternoon of this Monday 22 at kilometer 7.5 of the Duran – Tambo road, in the province of Guayas.
Police personnel carrying out a patrol in that area noticed the presence of the remains, around 2:30 p.m.
The uniformed men found an orange blanket next to the body and a black sheath, inside which were bones of a body in a state of decomposition.
Members of Criminalistics went to the site to gather evidence that would allow the body to be identified. They also collected data to initiate investigations into the case.
At least eight police patrols arrived at the site. Then, by order of the prosecutor on duty, the remains were lifted and taken to the Legal Medicine Laboratory.
This is the second body found in the Duran canton, this Monday the 22nd. After 07:00, next to the bus stop in the Cazadores neighborhood, police officers found a human head inside a jute bag.

Minutes earlier, citizens had reported to ECU911 that there were traces of blood on the jute bag.
The rest of the body was found a kilometer later, wrapped in sheets. Criminalistics attended the two points to lift the human remains.
