The researchers, using a mass spectrometer, confirmed that the bones belonged to chickens, and not to pheasants, since the chemical composition of their bones is different, despite the visual similarity. The date of death of chickens was the period between 381 and 204 BC. e., which was determined by radiocarbon dating.
