Experts named the best director Yevgeny Pisarev, who staged the musical Cabaret at the Theater of Nations, and the best conductor Tatyana Vinogradova for her work on the musical Three Comrades at the Perm Academic Theater-Theatre.
The artists of the musical “Cabaret” at the Theater of Nations received three awards. Alexandra Ursulyak for the role of Sally Bowles in this production was awarded for the best female role in the operetta/musical, Oleg Savtsov for the role of Entertainer MC was awarded for the best male role. Elena Shanina, who played the role of Frau Schneider in Cabaret, received a prize for a supporting role.
Ballet “Katarina, or the Robber’s Daughter” of the Opera and Ballet Theatre. Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk was also awarded the “Golden Mask” in the nomination of the best ballet production.
The best performance in modern dance was named the production of “A place that has not yet been” by the Project of Ksenia Mikheeva and the Union of Theater Workers of Russia (St. Petersburg).
For the best female role in ballet/modern dance, Elena Svinko was awarded for the image of Katarina in the production of Katarina, or the Robber’s Daughter by the Opera and Ballet Theatre. D. A. Slava Samodurov was awarded for the best work of a choreographer/choreographer for his production of Dancemania at the Bolshoi Theatre.
