The Maly Drama Theater of Europe in St. Petersburg under the direction of Lev Dodin again postponed performances in which Danila Kozlovsky is involved. Today, an announcement appeared on the theater website about the postponement of the performances of “Deceit and Love”.
They were supposed to take place on April 22 and 23, the theater moved them to May 23 and 24. No reason was given for the transfer.
“Tickets are valid. We really hope that the performances will take place, ”the release says.
Earlier, we recall, it was announced the transfer of “Hamlet” with Danila Kozlovsky. The reason was also not specified.
Recall that on April 17, the Presnensky Court of Moscow registered the actor’s claim against the head of the Federal Project for Security and Anti-Corruption Vitaly Borodin to protect honor, dignity and business reputation. However, the appeal was left without a motion “to eliminate shortcomings.”
Prior to this, Borodin turned to Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev with a request to check Kozlovsky for extremism and, if there were grounds, to bring him under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code. In addition, he asked the Prosecutor General’s Office to check the actor under the article on discrediting the army.
