Weather forecasts for this Monday.
The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology issued a bulletin on showers and thunderstorms valid until November 22. Rains of variable intensity accompanied by scattered thunderstorms are expected to occur, which would be of greater intensity between November 18 and 20 in the north of the Amazon and much of the eastern mountain range.
In the Amazon region, the most frequent intense rains will occur in areas of the foothills of the mountain range, although there will also be relevant events scattered in the region. Throughout the Inte-Andean Alley, the entire region will present rainfall of variable intensity, however, the most relevant rains will focus on various areas of the eastern mountain range foothills. Due to the high cloud cover, the temperature during the day will be relatively low on Friday 19 and Saturday 20.
This is the regional forecast for this Monday:
Littoral Region
From cloudy to occasionally partly cloudy, scattered drizzles in the north and interior of the region with some fog banks.
Sierra region
Partly cloudy with increased cloudiness, rains and occasional showers in the region without ruling out isolated storms in the north.
Amazon region
Varying from cloudy to partly cloudy, scattered rains will continue in the region, although mostly of light intensity, without ruling out some isolated storms.
Island region
Cloud cover will vary from cloudy to partly cloudy. Moderate gusts of wind. (I)
