On November 21, the service of the Ecovía Norte in Quito will be temporarily suspended

The units will not circulate on the Río Coca – Playón de la Marín section during the morning, due to the The Hope Run race.

Due to the completion of the The Hop Run race, in Quito, on November 21 there will be no service from the Ecovía Norte, in the section from the Río Coca stations to Playón de la María. Municipal transport units will not circulate from 06:30 to 12:00.

The Metropolitan Public Passenger Transport Company of Quito (Epmtpq) reported that to facilitate users, only units will be sent from 06:00 to 06:30.

The entity recommends that users who use the Río Coca Station of the Ecovía use the intraterminal circuit “Río Coca – Labrador” to move to the south of the city, to connect with the Trolleybus.

The Eugenio Espejo and Simón Bolívar stops will be inactive for nine days

The Passenger Transport Company also announced that from the night of November 19 until the 28 of the same month, the Simón Bolívar and Eugenio Espejo de la Ecovía stops will be suspended, because maintenance work will be carried out on Gran Colombia avenue. . This intervention will be in charge of the Metropolitan Public Mobility and Public Works Company (Epmmop).

In this sense, it was reported that the operation of the transport units will be as follows:

  • Norte – On: Users of the Eugenio Espejo and Simón Bolívar stops will be able to disembark at a provisional stop located in front of the Benalcázar Mil building on 10 de Agosto avenue.
  • Sur – Norte: Those who travel in this direction will have access to the Eugenio Espejo stop since the units will arrive at this point through Pichincha avenue to Luis Felipe Borja street, Hermanos Pazmiño street to Gran Colombia avenue. (I)
