Ukraine, at the current rate of consumption, will completely exhaust its stocks of Buk missiles by April 13, and S-300 missiles by May 3. According to RBC, this was reported by The Wall Street Journal, citing leaked secret Pentagon documents dated February 28.

In this case, most of Ukraine’s critical infrastructure outside the Kyiv region will lose air defense cover, the documents say. Thus, the number of unprotected critical objects will grow from six to more than 40.

Despite the fact that the United States, Norway, Canada and Germany provided two NASAMS air defense systems and one Iris-T system, according to the document, ammunition for these complexes will also have to run out by May.

Every month, the Armed Forces of Ukraine spent approximately 200 S-300 missiles, 69 missiles for the Buk and a total of 64 missiles for NASAMS and Iris-T, the newspaper notes.

Earlier, The Washington Post, citing leaked documents from the Pentagon and US intelligence, wrote that Ukraine lacks ammunition and air defense systems. One document states that Kyiv’s ability to provide medium-range air defense will be depleted by May 23.
