By the end of October 2023, 250 km of roads to more than 100 addresses will be repaired in St. Petersburg. As the press service of Smolny told the St. Petersburg TV channel, more than 12 billion rubles will be allocated from the budget for these purposes. Another 1.2 billion rubles were allocated under the federal co-financing program as part of the Safe High-Quality Roads project.
“Petersburg’s participation in the Safe High-Quality Roads national project provides the city with additional funding for projects to repair city highways. When planning such work, we first of all take into account the condition of highways, the proximity of social facilities, as well as the appeals of residents,” Governor Alexander Beglov commented.
In particular, the work will affect Sverdlovskaya embankment, Pulkovskoye and Pesochnoye highways, Dalnevostochny avenue, Suzdalskoye and Gorskoye highways, as well as Dobraya Gorka street and Veteranov avenue.
Specialists will undertake the restoration of road surfaces on an area of about 600,000 square meters.
