To support the next election campaign of President Joe Biden, the White House is going to attract popular bloggers from various social platforms – they may have their own briefing room at the residence of the American president, Axios reports.

According to the publication, four employees from Biden’s digital team are already working on the project. At the same time, they officially work in the White House, and not in the Democratic election campaign. A key challenge for the current administration is to reach young voters, who could be critical to Democratic electoral success and to counter former President Donald Trump’s millions of social media followers if he becomes the Republican nominee in 2024.

It is noted that Biden’s digital strategy team intends to use bloggers to involve Americans in the election who do not follow the White House or the Democratic Party on social networks or even “disconnected” from the mainstream media.

Biden has not yet officially announced his decision to run for a second term. In February 2023, he confirmed his intention to participate in the 2024 presidential election, but clarified that he had not yet made a final decision.
