Weather forecasts for this Saturday.
The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology issued a bulletin on showers and thunderstorms valid until November 22. It is expected that there will be rains of variable intensity accompanied by scattered electrical storms, which would be of greater intensity between November 18 and 20 in the north of the Amazon and much of the eastern mountain range.
In the Amazon region, the most frequent intense rains will occur in areas of the foothills of the mountain range, although there will also be relevant events scattered in the region. Throughout the Interandino Alley, the entire region will present rainfall of variable intensity, however, the most relevant rains will focus on various areas of the eastern mountain range foothills. Due to the high cloud cover, the temperature during the day will be relatively low on Friday 19 and Saturday 20.
This is the regional forecast for this Saturday:
Littoral Region
Cloudy sky varying occasionally to partially cloudy, isolated rains to the north and occasional drizzles in the interior of the region.
Sierra region
Cloudy sky with occasional decrease in cloud cover, scattered rains and drizzles. Probable isolated thunderstorms. Banks of fog in the early hours of the morning.
Amazon region
Cloudy varying to occasional partial cloudy, rains and scattered showers of variable intensity with isolated storms. Greater intensity of rainfall in the foothills of the mountain range.
Island region
Varying from cloudy to partly cloudy, isolated drizzles. Moderate gusts of wind. (I)
