The moment of the explosion at a meeting with military correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky (real name Maxim Fomin) was caught on video. The corresponding frames were published in the Telegram channels and the social network VKontakte.
In the video, Tatarsky puts away in a box a figurine given to him, which, presumably, contained explosives. At this moment, one of the participants in the event asks a question, after which an explosion occurs.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs showed a video with the confession of Daria Trepova, a suspect in the murder of a military officer, that she brought a figurine to a cafe, which was then blown up. As a result, Tatarsky died and more than 30 people were injured.
The explosion, we recall, occurred the day before in a cafe in St. Petersburg on Universitetskaya embankment.
Initially, the case was initiated under the article on murder in a generally dangerous way, but later it was reclassified to part 3 of Art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist act). The Investigative Committee believes that Daria Trepova, who was detained in connection with the explosion in a St. Petersburg cafe, was led from Ukraine.
