Flydubai, a low-cost airline from the United Arab Emirates, has launched a scheme for paying for tickets with Russian bank cards operating on Visa, Mastercard and Mir payment systems, TASS reports citing the representative office of the carrier.
The scheme involves, in addition to paying for the ticket, the need to pay a commission of 7%, as well as pay extra for each segment of the flight and pay an additional fee.
To purchase a ticket, you need to book a flight on the airline’s website and select the “Pay later” option, and then inform the Flydubai Russian support center of the booking code. After that, the client is sent a link to pay. The transaction fee is 7% of the ticket price, in addition, you need to pay $5 for one flight segment and a fee of 2,000 rubles for an economy class ticket or 4,000 rubles for a business class ticket.
The support center clarified that payment with Mir cards does not always go through the first time, in which case the client will receive a new link. Cards of the Chinese payment system Union Pay are not suitable for paying for Flydubai services.
