The first episode aired in September 1999. The program immediately appealed to the viewers and continuously until 2003 was in the station’s repertoire. Later, production was suspended for several years, only to be reactivated in 2008. Another break in the broadcast took place after 2 years, but in 2017 the show returned to the screens permanently.
Since the broadcast of the first episode, the program has undergone considerable changes regarding the rules of the game. Initially, on the way to the main prize, the participants had to face as many as 15 questions, and now there are 3 fewer of them. In addition, the former question to an expert has been replaced with the possibility of making a phone call to a friend. From the pool of lifebuoys, however, the possibility of changing the question in exchange for resigning from the second guaranteed threshold was excluded.
