A passenger train collided with a passenger car at a crossing in the Dzhankoy region of Crimea. According to Interfax, according to preliminary data, four people, including two children, died.

“Passenger train No. 8 collided with a silver Skoda Octavia car at a railway crossing at 1388 km. According to preliminary data, two adults and two children were killed,” the press service of the Crimean Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs for Crimea confirmed the information about the accident.

“According to preliminary data, in the Dzhankoy district, the train “St. Petersburg – Sevastopol” at a railway crossing in the area of ​​​​the village. Otradnoye collided with a Skoda car. The number of victims is being established,” the press service of the police said.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the accident occurred around 20:14. Rescuers needed help to release the victims.
