In Astrakhan, investigators are investigating the death of a 44-year-old woman from injuries allegedly caused by stray dogs. This was reported by TASS with reference to the investigative department of the RF Investigative Committee for the Astrakhan region.
“The Investigation Department for the Sovetsky District of Astrakhan of the Investigation Department of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Astrakhan Region is conducting a procedural check on the fact of the death of a local resident born in 1979. The body of a woman without signs of a criminal death, but with lacerations, bitten wounds, presumably caused by stray dogs, was found in the parking lot of vehicles near one of the houses on 1 Rozhdestvensky passage in the Sovetsky district of Astrakhan, ”the message says.
All the circumstances of the incident are being established, and a forensic medical examination has been appointed to determine the cause of death. Investigators will determine if the wounds are life-threatening.
In the Astrakhan region, dogs often attack people, including children, residents complain about whole flocks of neglected animals in public places, and special services receive many applications to catch them.
