Vandals desecrated a monument erected in the village of Koshnitsa in the Dubossary region of Moldova in honor of the heroes who took the blow of the fascists who attacked the USSR in 1941. Here, in the summer of 1941, Soviet soldiers under the command of junior lieutenant Vasily Suvorin held the defense, ”Petrovich wrote on the social network. He recalled that this is the fourth act of vandalism committed at this military-historical facility.
“In June last year, the search movement of Moldova once again restored it after the destruction in November 2019,” Petrovich said. According to him, an operational group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, employees of the mayor’s office arrived at the crime scene of the vandals, and a criminal case was initiated.
