A girl born in 2021 died after falling out of the window of an apartment located on the fifth floor of an apartment building in Tver. According to TASS with reference to the regional investigation department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, a criminal case has been opened on the fact of causing death by negligence.
“The Moscow Interdistrict Investigation Department of the city of Tver initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Causing death by negligence”),” the message says.
According to investigators, on March 24, a girl born in 2021 fell out of the window of an apartment located on the fifth floor of a residential building on Novotorzhskaya Street in the regional center. The child died at the scene from his injuries.
Investigators are establishing the circumstances that led to the tragedy. The prosecutor’s office of the Tver region also began its own check.
Based on the results of the audit, an assessment will be made of the fulfillment of the requirements of federal legislation on minors.
