Two 14-year-old boys died due to a fire in a bathhouse, investigators opened a criminal case on causing death by negligence. It is reported by “RIA Novosti” with reference to the RF SUSK in the Tyumen region.
According to investigators, on March 21, at about 7 p.m., a fire broke out in a bathhouse on Yantarnaya Street in the city of Tyumen. According to neighbors, the father of one of the boys returned home and found the children unconscious in a burning bathhouse. Trying to save the teenagers, he pulled them out of the fire, after which all three were hospitalized with burns. Despite the efforts of doctors, the children died, the man is receiving the necessary medical care.
“On the fact of the death of two 14-year-old teenagers as a result of a fire that occurred in the city of Tyumen, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (infliction of death by negligence on two or more persons),” follows from the press service of the department.
Appropriate forensic examinations are being carried out to determine the exact causes of death of children and the outbreak of fire.
