Russia and China form an axis, which is becoming a real problem for the West. According to RBC with reference to The Telegraph, this was stated by the former assistant to former US President Donald Trump for national security, John Bolton.
“I believe that a Russia-China axis is being formed, to which Iran and North Korea will join. Look at the map, look at the geography,” he said.
Bolton noted that this should be taken seriously, since both Beijing and Moscow regard their relationship as an “alliance without borders.”
“This is the real problem for the West, no matter what happens in Ukraine,” said the ex-aide.
On March 20, Chinese leader Xi Jinping arrived in Russia for a three-day state visit. This is his first foreign visit after being re-elected for a third term. The joint statement of Russia and China after the talks between President Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, in particular, says that relations between the countries “are mature, stable, self-sufficient and strong, have withstood the test of the COVID-19 pandemic and the turbulent international situation, are not subject to external influence, demonstrate vitality and positive energy.”
