A case of torture was initiated against a blogger after the death of a baby in Sochi. It is reported by TASS with reference to the RF IC.

“The investigating authorities of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Krasnodar Territory have opened a criminal case against a 43-year-old visitor from St. Petersburg. The man is suspected of torturing a baby (Clause d, Part 2, Article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation),” the report says.

According to the investigation, the defendant and a 33-year-old cohabitant lived in rented housing in the village of Vardan, Lazarevsky district of Sochi. According to the investigation, on February 11, the woman, while at home, gave birth to a child. The cohabitants did not apply for qualified help to the hospital, including later. After the birth of a child, the man took the baby from the mother several times and deprived him of the opportunity to eat for a day. On March 8, due to the deteriorating health of the baby, they decided to take him to a medical facility, but the boy died before arriving at the hospital.

Earlier, several Telegram channels reported the death of the son of blogger Maxim Lyuty, who adheres to a raw food type of diet.
