The military enlistment offices of Mari El began to send summonses to the residents of the region to clarify the military registration data. This is stated in the press service of the government.
The release says that the distribution is taking place “as planned.”
The press service of the government recalled that every year the chief of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces approves a plan for conducting military training with citizens in the reserve. It is noted that the citizens called up for the training camp will retain a job with the payment of an average salary, and all financial payments “in accordance with the military rank and position” will also be made.
It should be noted that Mari El became the sixth region where summonses were sent out in March to clarify the data.
The other day it became known about the distribution in the Voronezh region. Later – in the Lipetsk and Penza regions, as well as in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, on March 16, summonses began to be sent out in the Yaroslavl region.
Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the mailing process “common practice.” He also stressed that a new wave of mobilization in the Kremlin is not currently being discussed.
