A kindergarten teacher in Sochi was sentenced to four years in prison for systematic abuse of children. According to the Joint Press Service of the Courts of the Krasnodar Territory, the woman placed the pupil in the toilet room, turned off the light and kept it there for more than 30 minutes, not giving him the opportunity to leave.
Also, in the period from August 2021 to March 2022, a woman periodically, due to various trifles, used physical and psychological violence against minor pupils, and treated them cruelly. It is reported that she hit the children on the cheeks, twisted their ears, hit the face and head with paper sheets, dragged them by the arms and hit them on the table.
She herself fully admitted her guilt and refused to testify.
The court sentenced the woman to four years in a penal colony. She is also prohibited from engaging in activities related to working with children for four years. The actual serving of the sentence, however, was postponed because the woman has a child under 14 years old.
