Wildberries must comply with labor laws, Russian Labor Minister Anton Kotyakov told reporters.
“Now a lot of attention is riveted to Wildberries from Rostrud, from the deputy corps, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, we are dealing with the situation,” he stressed. According to him, the departments are currently studying the applications of citizens and documents, “depending on this, a decision will be made jointly with the Prosecutor General’s Office,” RIA Novosti reports.
The company has already announced that it is canceling more than 10,000 incorrect fines and will update the feedback system with employees and partners.
Recall that earlier the owners of the Wildberries pick-up points (POPs) complained about fines from the company and demanded fairer conditions. The next day, pickup points in various Russian cities went on strike. Employees of Wildberries distribution points went to work, but temporarily did not issue orders to customers. The protesters were dissatisfied with the change in the company’s policy: the retailer decided to oblige the employees of the PVZ to compensate 100% of the cost of orders if the buyer returns them due to marriage or inconsistency of the goods ordered. On March 15, Wildberries announced the closure of several pickup points of “uncivilized partners” and the export of goods from them.
