The Russian military is conducting an offensive in the zone of a special military operation (SVO) in Ukraine with the support of rocket artillery from the Central Military District. According to Interfax, this was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher crews of the Central Military District support the offensive of motorized rifle formations, striking at fortified areas, equipment and manpower of the armed forces of Ukraine,” the report says.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the coordinates for delivering strikes to the military are transmitted by drone operators and intelligence.
On March 12, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, announced the active actions of the Center group of troops, as well as the active actions of the units of the Southern group with the support of artillery. He said that the artillery of the “West” group struck at the armed forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction, the artillery of the “Vostok” group – in the South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions.
