The Peace Committee of the city of Chania on the island of Crete held a rally on Saturday against the indecent behavior of the military from the American aircraft carrier George W. As reported earlier on Saturday by the Greek information portal of the left forces 902.gr, the Chania Peace Committee called on residents to protest at the city hall, noting that 6,000 sailors and military from the aircraft carrier George W. Bush again arrived at the naval base in Souda for relaxation at a time when all of Greece is mourning the dozens who died as a result of a railway accident. The organization said there were “drunken antics” in the city of American soldiers, some of whom “injected themselves”, and, according to the committee, there were fights between the US military.
