In the Amur region, on the Mokhortov-Sturm stage, 10 wagons with coal derailed, four passenger trains were delayed. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Amur Region.
“On the second of March, on the stretch of Mokhortov – Storming of the single-track non-electrified section of Tynda – Bamovskaya of the Far Eastern Railway, 10 wagons of a freight train loaded with coal derailed. As a result of the descent, the gauge of the track was violated, ”the message says.
The movement of trains on the site has been suspended. There were no casualties as a result of the incident. Recovery trains were sent to the place from Skovorodino and Tynda stations. The causes of the incident are being investigated.
According to preliminary information, delays are expected for passenger trains No. 81 Tynda – Blagoveshchensk, No. 317 Blagoveshchensk – Nizhny Bestyakh, No. 325 Khabarovsk – Neryungri, No. 326 Neryungri – Khabarovsk.
It is reported that the working group of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Amur Region of the permanent operational headquarters has been connected.
