In the Omsk region, the Pavlogradsky district court sentenced an 18-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl who committed a triple murder in the village of Yuryevka to 6 years 7 months in a penal colony and 6 years 7 months in an educational colony, respectively. It is reported by “RIA Novosti” with reference to the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.
The court found that the seventh grader was in a conflict relationship with her stepfather, mother and 10-year-old disabled sister. She suggested to her boyfriend, who at that time was 17 years old, to kill her relatives, arguing that after that no one would interfere with their relationship. The teenagers developed a plan of action. The guy took a bayonet-knife from his friend and on the night of January 22, 2022, made his way into the house, where he inflicted fatal stab wounds on sleeping adults, as well as a 10-year-old girl suffering from cerebral palsy, whom her older sister did not want to take care of.
“After the murder, the schoolgirl, taking her 6-year-old brother with her, knocked on the door of her neighbors in order to conceal the crime, saying that an unfamiliar man allegedly broke into the house and killed her parents, and also provided the police officers with knowingly false information about his appearance to compile an identikit of the criminal” , – explained in the press service of the department.
During the investigation, the teenagers confessed to the crime. They showed the place where they had hidden the knife and the bloody clothes. The couple was arrested. The press service of the regional SUSK of the Russian Federation for the Omsk region said that a forensic psychological and psychiatric examination was carried out, which recognized them as sane. Also, the involvement of teenagers in a cruel crime was confirmed by forensic, biological and forensic examinations.
“The court sentenced the guy to 6 years 7 months in prison in a correctional colony of general regime, and his 15-year-old girlfriend – 6 years 6 months in prison in an educational colony. In addition, the court ruled to recover 1 million rubles from them in solidarity as compensation for moral damage caused to the seven-year-old son of the deceased woman, ”the press service added.
The verdict did not enter into force.
