The head of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption, Vasily Piskarev, said that the lower house would soon study the situation with the detention of teenagers associated with the so-called Redan PMC. It is reported by TASS.
“We will study in detail the situation around the detentions of teenagers from the so-called PMC Redan, which some media write about, in the near future. I will send relevant requests to law enforcement agencies,” Piskarev wrote on his Telegram channel. “It is necessary to find out if representatives of unfriendly countries are behind the new “fashion structure”, whose only goal is to destabilize the situation through our youth,” he added.
According to the parliamentarian, “it’s one thing if we are talking about the enthusiasm of young people for some kind of cartoon, and another if these are attempts disguised as a youth subculture to involve the younger generation in a criminal environment, riots and fights.” “We all remember the situation with the “groups of death”, when, under the guise of a game, children were also involved in a deadly experiment,” the deputy emphasized.
Earlier, the press service of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg reported that one of the alleged initiators of the fight in the Gallery shopping center was detained in the city, he turned out to be a 17-year-old first-year student of the city college. According to local media, a 17-year-old teenager provoked a fight with a 15-year-old schoolboy because of the PMC Redan paraphernalia on the clothes of the second.
