On February 26, Ukraine received a new military aid package from Estonia, the amount of which amounted to about 400 million euros (more than 1% of the country’s GDP), the ERR broadcasting company reports.
The new package included assault rifles, pistols, drones, thermal imaging cameras, generators and chargers, and clothing equipment. In addition, in cooperation with Germany, Estonia donated two field hospitals and medical supplies to Ukraine in the amount of about 15 million euros. Estonia will transfer the third field hospital to Ukraine in cooperation with the Netherlands and Norway, which supported the project in the amount of 7.8 million. At the same time, Estonia will receive compensation from the European Peace Fund in the amount of 156 million euros.

Earlier, Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu said that Ukraine is in dire need of arms and ammunition supplies from Europe. According to him, Tallinn proposes to send a million artillery shells to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in six months.
