The Rossiya Airlines plane made an emergency landing in Krasnoyarsk. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Eastern Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
The Boeing-737-800 was on its way from Sochi to Krasnoyarsk, and an emergency landing was made at the airport in Krasnoyarsk due to depressurization of the aircraft cabin. On board were 167 passengers, of which 21 were minors, as well as eight crew members. According to preliminary data, no one was hurt.
According to part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Violation of the rules for the safety of traffic and operation of railway, air, sea and inland water transport and the subway” the investigation organized an audit.
According to the airline, during flight FV6876, three minutes before the start of the descent, an abnormal operation of the pressure control sensor in the cabin occurred, and the crew decided to release oxygen masks in the cabin.
The plane landed at the Krasnoyarsk airport safely, right on schedule. The Boeing-737 liner has been taken out of operation, the airline’s specialists are checking it,” Rossiya Airlines said.
