The governor of the Sverdlovsk region, Yevgeny Kuyvashev, said that Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of PMC Wagner and the owner of companies that supply meals to schools, should “not poke his nose” into the management of the country’s regions and personnel policy, but go about his business. It is reported by RBC with reference to the regional portal 66.ru.
“If every businessman who earns money from school meals tries to run the country, we will not get far. Everyone should mind their own business. You cook cutlets and cook pasta, and we will figure it out in the regions ourselves, ”he suggested.
Kuyvashev noted that Prigozhin once again comments on the actions of the authorities of the Sverdlovsk region, but each time it is more difficult for him “to figure out what to complain about, how else to offend our region.”
“This time, for some reason, he said that we were having ‘lawlessness’,” Kuyvashev complained, pointing out that Prigozhin’s increased attention to the actions of the regional government was ‘lawlessness’.
Prigozhin, who is in the NVO zone, criticized the authorities of the Sverdlovsk region two days earlier, on February 22, calling their actions “formal lawlessness.” He stated that “there are regions that frankly crap”, not coordinating the funeral of PMC fighters who died during the special operation with honors, and recalled the “scandalous story with the city history museum” in Yekaterinburg, the regional center of the Sverdlovsk region.
“In general, this is a network problem in the country today. Unfortunately, regional officials consider themselves the masters of this territory, and hence the bureaucracy, hence the corruption, hence the complete chaos that they often create, ”said Prigozhin.
