Transport operator “Ruscon” has launched a maritime service between Turkish Istanbul and St. Petersburg. This was reported in the press service of the Delo Group of Companies.
The new route will redistribute the load between the infrastructure of the south and north-west of Russia. Travel time is 17 days. The first shipment from Istanbul took place in February 2023.
“Turkey is one of the main trade partners of Russia, and the new regular route will help ensure efficient logistics between the countries. The service will also create additional opportunities for sending export and import cargo in containers through the ports of the North-West, including specialized terminals of Global Ports, our partners in the Delo group,” said Sergey Berezkin, head of Ruscon.
Ruscon’s partner in organizing the line is the international container shipping company Mountain Air Shipping, based in Dubai.
