Maersk has entered into an agreement to sell its logistics sites in St. Petersburg and Novorossiysk to IG Finance Development Limited.

Following the acquisition of the assets, IG Finance Development Limited entered into an agreement with Arosa, a major food importer in Russia, to manage the facilities. The sale is completed and effective February 17, Maersk said.

Maersk estimated the volume of investments in the first stage of the warehouse complex in St. Petersburg at $30 million, Interfax notes.

Production and warehouse complex for processing refrigerated containers in St. Petersburg with an area of ​​23.5 thousand square meters. m opened in 2020. The A+ class multi-temperature complex was built for the needs of AP Moeller-Maersk Group on the territory of PNK Park Sofia Ring Road. The warehouse incorporates deep-freezing chambers (up to minus 25 degrees). The object is also equipped with two three-story administrative and office premises with a total area of ​​about 2.5 thousand square meters. m.
