Director Robert Davi talks about allegations made by Trump allies about Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings, Joe Biden’s son from his marriage to Neilia Hunter Biden. According to the producers, the film is supposed to portray “the interests and lifestyle of Hunter Biden”. It is distributed via a website affiliated with the radical right. What may be most interesting for the Polish viewer is who played the president himself. Joe Biden in the film is John James, who is well known to fans of the cult “Dynasty”.
Jeff from Dynasty played President Biden
The actor gained the greatest popularity for the role of Jeff Colby in this production, as well as the spin-off titled “The Colbys”. In “Dynasty” he played from the first episode in 1981 to the last episode, broadcast in the States in 1989. In 1991, he also appeared in the TV movie Dynasty: The Reunion. In the 1990s and in the 21st century, he acted in various soap operas as well as television movies. He is also politically involved – he supports the Republican party, which was recently represented in the White House by Donald Trump. In 2020, John James also starred in the online-only film “The ObamaGate Movie”, in which he played James Comey, director of the FBI from 2013 to 2017.
The movie itself has 67 percent. Positive reviews from film critics on Rotten Tomatoes, which is not very good, but not the worst result. As much as 90 percent viewers find it good. It is worth noting, however, that there are only six reviews by journalists and they are not top media, and when it comes to the latter indicator, in the case of films so politically involved, the ratings are often the result of an organized action (like, for example, on the international movie website IMDB a few years ago) . Looking at the trailer, you can conclude that this is neither a high-budget nor an artistically great title and in absentia agree with the journalist of “The New Yorker”, who accuses the creators of amateurism and that this is not the Hunter Biden movie we need, nor we deserve.

It seems that it is definitely worth reaching for the autobiography of Hunter Biden. At the age of two, he and his brother, who was one year older, suffered a car accident that killed their mother and younger sister. Their father had just been elected to the United States Senate and had become a widower with two young children.
“Same beautiful things”, published in 2021 in Poland, only mention the accusations of Trump’s supporters, but above all they are – it seems very honest, and certainly a very moving story of an addict. A man who is privileged on paper, but has to deal with great sadness as a child, and then also terrible terrible things happen to him, which makes him see no other way than drugs. And it’s not about joint smoking and not taking a puff, but about the degradation that crack addiction leads to.
