The planes flew over the Yellow Sea, the Sea of Japan and over the territory of South Korea.

On the eve it became known that the DPRK launched a ballistic missile in the direction of the Sea of Japan. The launch of the Hwaseong-15 intercontinental ballistic missile was carried out as part of a sudden check of combat readiness, which provides for the provision of nuclear deterrence.
