Zhirinovsky’s son was placed under arrest after a brawl in a restaurant

The illegitimate son of ex-LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky received 15 days of administrative arrest after a scandal in a restaurant.

According to the Moskva agency with reference to the press service of the Tverskoy Court of the capital, Oleg Eidelstein “was found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, he was sentenced to arrest for a period of 15 days.

The incident took place on the evening of February 14th. From one of the restaurants on New Square in Moscow, the police received a signal about the scandal. Having left for the place, the police found the culprit of the incident in the institution, which turned out to be Oleg Eidelstein. After he was taken to the police station, the man behaved aggressively, insulted the police officers, and at some point hit one of them in the chest with his fist.

Currently, the court has sentenced Eidelstein for an administrative violation. An investigation is underway into the attack on a policeman who went to a medical facility after the incident. According to its results, a procedural decision will be made.
