Quevedo hopes to attract tourists on this carnival holiday to publicize its culture, gastronomy and the friendliness of its people. For this reason, a series of activities have been scheduled for the holidays that include boat rides, horseback riding and taking pictures in the lookout balloon.
To provide security to tourists on those days, it coordinates with relief institutions, such as the Police, Fire Department, Red Cross, among others.
Tourism sector expects $60 million to move for the 4-day carnival holiday
The days of festivities begin on February 14 with the presentation of candidates for the CNB 2023 national beauty contest. The event will take place at 11:00 a.m. in the hall of the municipal citadel.
At 4:00 p.m. on the Ruta del Río, at the Boho Garden Plaza, an event called By Mi Valentine will be held. Then, at 8:00 p.m., there will be a night of live music at the La Cuadra Shopping Center.
On February 17, at 9:00 p.m., on the Ruta del Río, the presentation of the Ecuadorian Daddy Yankee will take place.
Items to celebrate Valentine’s Day and carnival: the offer of entrepreneur fairs in Guayaquil and Samborondón
On February 18 at 5:00 p.m., at the Rapidito Beer location on Ruta del Río, the Carwash event is expected to take place.
On February 18 and 19 at the La Cuadra Shopping Center there will be an Entrepreneurs Fair starting at 10:00.
For February 19 and 21, on the Ruta del Río, the Carnival del Río nautical competition and the election of the Carnival Queen are planned from 4:00 p.m. (YO)
