About a ton of drugs was captured in one of the Guayaquil port terminals.
The Anti-Narcotics Police detected the shipment inside an export container. The illegal cargo was on the last three pallets.
After analysis, the Police determined that it was cocaine hydrochloride, a controlled substance.
According to the Police, this cargo was destined for the Netherlands.

The Police estimate that with this capture the trade of 9,850,000 doses in the international market is avoided.
The drug blocks had the initials VOS, which are nomenclatures used by drug trafficking groups to identify illegal cargo.
Fausto Salinas, Police Commander, indicated that these actions continue to neutralize drug trafficking networks.
