The capital prepares activities prior to its founding parties and Christmas.
From this Friday, November 12, there is a varied billboard of activities for the weekend that Quito residents and visitors can choose from, in addition to strolling through the iconic historic center.
Although the authorities warn of an outbreak of coronavirus in the country, events start to take place more frequently. For its part, the national Emergency Operations Committee (COE) has urged municipalities to allow events to meet the biosecurity requirements for prevent an increase in COVID-19 infections.
Ice skating
The mall United Nations (CCNU), located in the commercial heart of the city, prepared a show figure skating called Christmas On Ice. This Friday, November 12, the demonstration will take place at 6:00 p.m. in the basement of the shopping center.
But customers can also enjoy this skating experience: from November 12, 2021 to January 6, 2022, those who make purchases over $ 15 will be able to register their invoice at the information point and receive a coupon that gives them 30 free minutes on the track.
TEDx in Quito
This Saturday, November 13, they will be able to attend the series of talks with experts on different topics of relevance that will be held for the tenth edition in the capital.
The event will take place in the Sucre Theater, located on Guayaquil and ManabĂ streets. It will have limited capacity due to the pandemic. The Ticket value is $ 30 and they can be purchased online.

Red Bull Ecuador 2021 National Final
