As part of the project for the new Paluguillo – Parroquias Orientales drinking water pipeline, the interconnection works continue, which generates the temporary suspension of the provision of service to homes. This time it will be the Pifo parish that runs out of water on Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 February.

During the weekend, residents of the Guayllabamba and Tababela parishes complained about the lack of water despite the fact that the Metropolitan Public Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation (Epmaps) reported that the work had finished and that they began to restore the service.
This Monday morning the water returned to the homes, however, the complaint was due to low pressure.
