Three vehicles collided on Pedro Vicente Maldonado avenue and Guayanay Ñan street, in the south of Quito. Preliminarily, the Quito Fire Department (CBQ) reported that one person died and three were injured.

The emergency call to the Integrated Security Service entered at 08:38 this Saturday, February 11.
The place was cordoned off so that the agents and rescuers could carry out their work.
The three injured were assessed and stabilized on site for later transfer to health homes. The death of a citizen was also confirmed at the scene.
The names or ages of those affected were not confirmed.

A minor was arrested for attacking a police officer in the northwest of Guayaquil; in the operation they found rifles, police uniforms and ammunition
Patrol cars and ambulances from the CBQ, the National Police and the Metropolitan Transit Agency (AMT) attended the site.
Units from the Traffic Accident Investigation Service (SIAT) and the National Service of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences also arrived at the scene.
