Ecuador is a country of four regions that offers national and international tourists a wide range of options to enjoy for several days.
At the gates of a new holiday, citizens are already analyzing where they will spend those days. This year, carnival it begins on Saturday February 18 and extends to Sunday the 19th, Monday the 20th and Tuesday the 21st, the latter two being holidays. In accordance with the law of holidays in Ecuador, these dates are not recoverable.
When does the carnival start and when does it end?
The Ministry of Tourism promotes a program that seeks to promote the tourism development of Ecuadorian populations that have unique cultural and natural attributes. Within the ‘Magic Towns’ program there are 21 locations in four regions.

White water
Located within the Machalilla National Park, the community of Agua Blanca is located 12 kilometers north of Puerto LĂłpez.
The exuberant vegetation of its forests and bird watching are two of its characteristics, however, one of the attractions is the lagoon with sulfurous waters in which visitors can immerse themselves in mud.
Among the attractions that are listed are: tropical dry forest, museum, funerary urns, archaeological ruins, handicrafts, among others.
Zaruma
Located in the province of El Oro, it is one of the oldest cities in Ecuador, however, in recent years it has been affected by illegal mining that has caused sinkholes.
It still has houses that preserve historical architecture. Among its attractions is its historic center, the sanctuary of the Virgen del Carmen, Matriz de Huertas Church, El Sexmo mine, Zaruma Municipal Museum and Zaruma petroglyphs.
It is considered Cultural Heritage of Ecuador in 1990 and Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The capital of the province of ManabĂ presents several options for tourists. Camping, rafting, cycling, paragliding are some of the activities that can be carried out.
Among the attractions are the Historic Center, heritage houses, Cerro Hojas Jaboncillo archaeological complex, Plaza Alfaro, Las Vegas Park, La Rotonda Park, Cathedral Church, Casa Los Estancos, Crucita la Bella Beach and the weavers of Toquilla Straw Hats.
