The table session is scheduled from 08:30 this November 12

The Ethics Committee plans to set up, this November 12 from 08:30, to take the test regarding the investigation carried out after the complaint filed by Assemblywoman Johanna Moreira (ID) against her former co-chairman Ecknner Recalde, of course I collect tithes from your work team.

Recalde is investigated because he allegedly incurred the prohibition contemplated in paragraph 4 of article 163 of the Organic Law of the Legislative Function, which prohibits receiving income other than those corresponding to his function as assembly members.

Eckenner Recalde disaffiliates himself from the ID and asks to investigate the block of legislators for managing public positions in the Government

Legislator Marjorie Chávez, PSC delegate to the Committee, announced that the working day will be long because the accused and the proponent of the complaint will be heard, as well as the witnesses to the event.

After that, the president of the Committee, Segundo Chimbo (PK), will have five days to prepare a report for the consideration of the table for subsequent approval or not of the report in two days.

Ecknner Recalde affirmed that all the evidence presented by the plaintiff is prefabricated with the sole objective of obtaining its seat, and that all the audios that are presented on alleged money requests are staged and choppy.

He indicated that despite the audio montages it is evident that Assemblyman Ecknner Recalde has never received a single cent from his former collaborators, which shows the bad attitude and “the hoax that the Democratic Left led by legislator Alejandro Jaramillo to obtain the seat and put it at the service of the national government ”.

That the alleged self-purification in the Democratic Left does not exist, said the representative of Pichincha, after asking why the legislator Johanna Moreira has not presented a request for an investigation against Alejandro Jaramillo, in which he is implicated as vice president and shareholder of the company Aero Regional, which was illegally transporting people abroad.

On November 9, the Committee approved the evidence for the prosecution and defense presented in the process.

Moreira stated that he will demonstrate the transgression committed by Recalde, through audio evidence, bank deposits, among others. (I)
