A man who was driving a trike in the Vilcabamba sector, in Pascuales, north of Guayaquil, was killed with at least five bullet wounds while providing service in the streets of that sector.
According to witnesses, a man intercepted the victim and shot him regardless of the fact that there was a woman as a passenger, several witnesses who were driving and passing through the site and who began to run to get away from the attack.

Witnesses commented that due to the bullet wounds to the head, the man died immediately.
The attacker, who was riding a motorcycle, fled.
Uniformed officers from the Pascuales District went to the site minutes later to obtain more information about the attack and cordon off the sector that was filled with people to learn about this case.
Then they carried out the procedure of lifting the body to take it to the Legal Medicine of the Judicial Police.

Companions of the victim indicated that there is a lot of danger with criminals and extortionists who intimidate in that area in the north of the city.
“We are afraid that people are murdered here without caring that there are others and they may be injured,” said one of the Pascuales residents. (YO)
