The UN has no data on US involvement in the Nord Stream explosions. This statement was made by Deputy Spokesman of the UN Secretary General Farhan Haq.
Commenting on an investigation by American journalist Seymour Hersh about gas pipeline explosions, which said that they were organized by US Air Force divers with the assistance of Norway, Hack noted that there was no way to verify this message.
“It is up to American journalists to determine the veracity of these statements. Beyond that, I have no comment,” he said.
Hersh, in particular, wrote that in December 2021, the United States created a working group to develop a response to Russia’s actions, headed by National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan. According to the journalist, this group, together with the Norwegian special services, developed an operation to blow up two gas pipelines.
The Pentagon denied this information.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin blamed the “Anglo-Saxons” for what happened, for whom, in his opinion, it was “beneficial”.
